another variation
same idea, we did a project in KGN that did not use sandpaper. We would draw a simple picture (or in this case, draw an alef) and squeeze glue onto the outline. let it dry. The next day, we placed another paper over that paper - which is now bumpy from the glue. rub a crayon across the paper, and the design will appear on the top sheet. Then we spray painted the glue - paper, and attached both next to each other on an 11x17 paper.Posted by: ChallahCrumbs Aug 22, 2010 5:01 pm
Thanks!
This is a great idea and considerably easier if you don't have sandpaper on hand!Posted by: Stacey Feb 16, 2011 10:26 am
Rosh Hodesh Sandpaper Moons
Hello- I used sandpaper for a Rosh Hodesh craft for my pre-schoolers & Kindergarteners during Sunday School! I gave each child a copy of a coloring sheet of the moon placed on top of a piece of sandpaper. The kids used their crayons to color the moon and the sandpaper gave it a great texture! Then we glued their moons onto black paper and decorated with star stickers!
