Serves 12
¾ c. margarine
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp nutmeg
½ tsp ginger
½ tsp allspice
4 c. flour
1 tsp baking soda, dissolved in ½ c. water
1 tsp baking powderGlaze:
Icing Sugar
Boiling Water
Click to downloadCombine margarine, brown sugar and eggs. Add remaining ingredients. Shape into three logs. Place on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 for 20 minutes.
Pour glaze over the logs while still hot.
