Adorable thumbprints help teach us about our Sukkot guest list!

Each Sukkot we invite seven visitors to our Sukkah. There is a short passage read where we invite a different guest into our Sukkah each night.

Traditionally, those guests are Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Aaron and David. In modern times, some have chosen to invite Biblical women into the Sukkah.

Materials:

White construction paper
Ink pad or paints
Fine-tipped markers
Thumbs

Directions: 

Using different colored inks or paints, have your kids make seven ink thumb prints in a row in the center of the paper.

Using the markers, add faces to the thumbprints. Write the names of the visitors below each thumbprint.
