As evidenced by Megillat Esther, the Jewish people have a long history with India. Here’s an easy and delicious Indian dish you can make to serve at your Purim (or any!) meal. Serve it alone, over rice, or atop a salad.
Move over potato latke – I’ve found my new favorite patty! This dish is so easy to make, your kids can prepare the batter for you (but it’s probably safer for everyone if you do the frying!). Depending on your palate, you can serve these delicious corn patties with a side of salsa, a drizzle of maple syrup or on their own.
I love potatoes, especially roasted ones. I have a dozen different ways to roast a potato but the one here with mustard seeds has a great zing, and a freshness that I always associate with spring.
