Add a little pizzazz to your chummus!


1 basket of mushrooms, sliced

1 1/2 tsp cumin

1 tbsp olive oil

1/2 of an onion chopped

1 garlic clove chopped

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tbsp flour

1/2 cup water



1. Sauté the onions, garlic and mushrooms until mushrooms are soft. Add in cumin, salt and pepper.

2. Mix the flour and water and pour into the pan, and let it simmer and thicken.

3. Spread chummus on a plate, make a well in the middle of the plate and pour mushroom mixture onto the chummus.

4. Serve with pita (or any other bread).
