One little craft gives us Hebrew letters, shapes and patterns!

Ages 5-8

Materials:

Blue construction paper
Pencils
Thin black marker
Oil pastels or crayons

Directions:

  1. Using the first six letters of the Aleph Bet, put each letter into a different shape. (ie. the letter “ו” would fit nicely into a rectangle and the letter “ב” can go well in a circle).
  2. Using a pencil, trace each shape on to the blue construction paper. Then add the appropriate letter into the shape. Outline the letters and shapes in black marker.
  3. Using the pastels or crayon, add a different pattern to the background of each letter.

This would make a great fridge display.
