This salad comes with a great crunch!


  • Romaine lettuce
  • 1 can of sliced water chestnuts
  • A handful of snow peas, cut into 2 or 3 pieces
  • A handful of white mushrooms (one package, sliced)
  • 1 package of ramen noodles
  • ½ c pine nuts
  • ¼ c slivered almonds

Toast the noodles and nuts in a frying pan for a few minutes just so they get a little color and crisp.


  • 1/3 c oil
  • 1 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/3 c sugar
  • 1/4 c rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

Mix dressing ingredients. Add and toss right before serving.
