This week’s parsha gives some pretty specific guidelines on how to build the ark that the Children of Israel had carried in the desert: wood, golden rings and golden poles as handles. We’ve made our own version for this week’s Torah treat!

For the golden/wooden sides of the ark, use golden graham crackers. To hold it together, you can use frosting, marshmallow fluff or peanut butter. We used peach rings for the golden rings and hawaiian candy canes (what ever happened to lemon?!!?) as the rods.

The Children of Israel carried this ark for their long journey. Let’s see if this treat makes it to the end of your meal!
