Learn about complementary colors while making this aleph bet project!

Materials:

1 piece of black construction paper
White chalk
Glue stick
1-inch squares of colored paper – red, yellow, blue, orange, green and blue

Directions:

  1. Using chalk, draw a large aleph on the black construction paper. (Need help? Download our aleph template to help you out. Cut it out and paste it on the black paper.)
  2. Choose one set of complementary colors (red and green, blue and orange, or yellow and purple)
  3. Paste squares of one color around the letter and squares of the complementary color inside the Aleph.

Don’t limit yourself to Aleph! Choose any letter of the Aleph Bet (write your child’s name!) for this project.
