It’s the first rainy day in a long time, and all I feel like doing is making soup and maybe some of these super easy super yummy croutons.

Ingredients:

Various breads, cubed (sure, you can use stale bread. Challah? Great. Any other bread? Totally fine.)

Olive oil

Garlic Powder (feeling ambitious? press two cloves of garlic instead)

Onion Powder

Salt

Pepper

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl, toss the bread cubes with olive oil until they are coated.
  2. Add seasoning and continue tossing.
  3. Put them on a baking tray and in the oven at 250.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes

Put them on a baking tray, trying not to layer them too thickly, and bake at about 180 for about 10 minutes. When the smell of garlic starts to permeate the kitchen, they’re just ready!

Remove them from the baking tray immediately, to stop them burning.
