Use materials around your house to make this creative Chanukiah!
*Note: Some of these materials, specifically the small candle holders, may be easier to purchase in Israel.
Materials:
An empty bottle of olive oil
Tissue paper or colorful stones
Candle holders
Hot glue
Directions:
1. Rinse out an empty bottle of olive oil. Let dry completely. (You can buy an empty bottle at most craft stores.)
2. Fill the bottle with strips of colorful tissue paper or colorful stones. Seal the bottle.
3. Using a hot glue gun, glue the small candle holders on to the top of the bottle. Let dry completely.
Variation:
For older kids, have them paint on the glass of the olive oil bottle for an extra element to the project.
