Just in time for Purim, we’re bringing you the perfect chicken recipe for your holiday meal!



1 chicken, cut into 8 pieces

2 c diced onion

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 c chili sauce

1 ½ c red wine





  1. Over medium heat, pan fry the chicken in a large pan.  Fry the chicken for 7 minutes on each side.  Remove from pan and place in a 9 x 13 baking dish.
  2. In the same chicken renderings, add the rest of the ingredients.
  3. Cook over medium heat until the liquid is reduced to half.
  4. Pour contents of pan over the chicken and bake at 250 for 1.5 – 2 hours.
